HÀ NỘI — Two events held in Hà Nội have offered visitors insights into Malaysia’s EduTourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) offerings.

Malaysia EduTourism Seminar and MICE Expo was held on September 26 and 27 by the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board at the country’s embassy focused on the diversity of Malaysia's education system and unique learning opportunities for Vietnamese students.

Attendees learnt about homestay tourism, local cultural experiences and the quality educational programmes available in the country.

The seminar also provided information about study programmes, new visa policies and global learning opportunities.

The Malaysian ambassador to Việt Nam, Tan Yang Thai, said the seminar was a great opportunity to explore the immense potential of Malaysia’s educational tourism and promote collaboration and cultural exchanges between the two nations.

"Malaysia offers high-quality educational programmes combined with unique travel experiences for Vietnamese students," he said

The MICE Expo held on September 27 showcased Malaysia as a MICE destination and the benefits it offers such as convenient travel, reasonable costs, cultural, culinary and shopping experiences along, and team-building activities.

An official from the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau said his MICE travelers could enjoy visa-free travel and luxury accommodation like the Hilton Kuala Lumpur, EQ Kuala Lumpur and Shangri-La Hotel.

Top convention centres such as Setia Spice and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, and destinations like Putrajaya, Langkawi and Sabah offer diverse cultural experiences and exciting activities like white-water rafting, cave exploration and trekking, he added. — VNS
