Vietjet increases flight frequency on several int'l routes

HCM CITY — Vietjet will increase the frequency of flights on numerous routes starting October 27, raising the total number of Vietjet flights to 99 per week between major cities in northeast Asia and Việt Nam.

The additional flights are meant to welcome the year-end festive season, offering more travel options along with attractive promotions, Vietjet said in a statement.

Specifically, the HCM City-Taipei and Hà Nội-Taipei routes will each operate two flights per day, up from one currently.

Vietjet will also increase the flight frequency on each of the routes connecting Việt Nam with Taichung and Kaohsiung to seven times per week.

Hong Kong (China) will also see more flight options from Vietjet. Services connecting Phú Quốc and Đà Nẵng to Hong Kong will increase to seven flights per week.

Vietjet said that passengers can easily book tickets priced from zero đồng available every Friday, applicable to all international routes.

Additionally, from now until September 15, 2024, passengers can also enjoy a 20 per cent discount on Eco-class fares by using the code VJ200 when booking at www.vietjetair.com or on the Vietjet Air mobile app.

As one of the airlines with the most routes between Việt Nam and Taiwan (China), Vietjet currently operates nine routes with 81 round-trip flights per week. For Hong Kong, it operates three routes with 18 round-trip flights per week. — VNS
