HÀ NỘI — The Quảng Ngãi team won the BTV annual New Year marathon 2019, held yesterday at exhibition and convention centre, in the southern province of Bình Dương.
Bình Dương team and Hà Tĩnh team finished at second and third, respectively.
As many as 8,000 runners took part in the race.
Athletes competed in categories like girl’s 3km, boy’s 5km, men’s team 10km, group formation and others.
In the women’s race, the gold went to Khánh Hòa, while silver was won by Bình Phước and bronze went to Ninh Thuận.
In non-professional category, teams from Dĩ An, Thuận An, Phú Giáo and Dầu Tiếng gained high-achievement scores.
In the team rankings, Ngô Quyền Corps of Engineers University were top.
