ĐÀ NẴNG — GE HealthCare officially launched its next-generation Carestation™ 600 Series V2 anesthesia systems at the National Congress of Vietnam Society of Anesthesia (VSA 2024) held in Đà Nẵng last week.
With a compact design suitable for even tight spaces, Carestation 600 Series V2 enables access to all patient types, helping to address the challenges of safe surgical care and anesthesia.
Notably, Carestation Series V2 optimises lung protective ventilation, simplifying its application with tools like automatic predicted body weight and tidal volume calculation, continuous monitoring of driving pressure and lung compliance. The enhanced automatic lung recruitment maneuvers software also offers a more streamlined user experience.
The machines integrate seamlessly with GE HealthCare's B1x5M patient monitors, featuring an advanced 15-inch intuitive touchscreen interface with easy-to-use ventilation controls to meet the fast pace of the operating room, along with AI-powered software that monitors patient responses to multiple anesthesia therapies for timely intervention.
Additionally, the system’s connectivity allows data transmission to patient monitors and central systems like electronic medical records and hospital information systems, contributing significantly to digital transformation in anesthesia.
The VSA 2024, part of the 17th Asian and Oceanic Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Congress, attracted over 1,000 leading domestic and international experts who gathered to explore the latest innovations in anesthesiology.
In conjunction with the event, GE HealthCare showcased its modern anesthesia and patient monitor solutions aimed at assisting doctors in improving surgical outcomes and addressing challenges in the healthcare sector. — VNS
