ĐẮK NÔNG — The Central Highlands province of Đắk Nông has recorded more than 1,200 cases of dengue fever so far this year, more than double the number in the same period last year, according to the provincial Department of Health.
From the beginning of the year until now, most cases have been concentrated in Gia Nghĩa City, and Đắk Song and Đắk R’lấp districts.
The province has recorded one death due to dengue fever.
In order to prevent dengue infections from continuing to spread, the health department has coordinated with local authorities to spray mosquitoes and mosquito larvae to prevent and control dengue fever. — VNS
