HÀ NỘI  A workshop on sculpting and drawing on clay will be held by Vietclay Art every Saturday from now until the end of September.

Entitled Màu Mùa Hạ (Colour of Summer), from 9am to 11.30am, attendees will learn about basic clay sculpturing techniques. They will be guided to sculpt clay on a turntable. In this way, they will get in touch with the earth in a different way when they hold it in their hands and form it into the shapes they desire.

As a pottery product also needs colour and ‘soul’, artists at Vietclay will show attendees how to draw on ceramics. The attendees will be shown how to sketch on paper before applying the drawing onto ceramics. Attendees will bring home two of their final products, unbaked or baked.

To join, register at vietclay.com/products/mau-mua-ha.

Fee: VNĐ799,000/person including drinks and necessary tools. Vietclay Art is at 29 Nhà Chung Street, Hoàn Kiếm District. VNS
