ĐÀ NẴNG — Hải Âu Aviation will launch a new daily air route between Đà Nẵng and Huế City – the first of its kind – for aerial sightseeing tours from April 25.
The airline said it will use a 12-passenger Cessna plane to operate flights each day with three options of 30 minutes, 40 minutes and 80 minutes between Đà Nẵng International Airport and Phú Bài Airport.
Tourists will get bird’s eye views from during the trip over pristine beaches, Sơn Trà and Bà Nà mountains, Hải Vân Pass of Đà Nẵng and part of the Chàm Islands off the coast of Hội An.
Huế, the UNESCO-recognised former imperial city, and the Hương (perfume) River as well as Tam Giang Lagoon will be included in the trip.
The airline said it offers ticket costs for each trip at US$87 for 30 minutes, $155 for 40 minutes and $266 for an 80 minute trip.
Daily flights will take off at 8am, 9am, 10.20am, 12am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm from Phú Bài Airport in Huế and Đà Nẵng Airport.
Hải Âu Aviation, under the Thiên Minh Group, said it would expand the service from Đà Nẵng to Quảng Bình, Phan Thiết and Nha Trang in the near future.
The Thiên Minh Group, in joint-venture with budget airline AirAsia, also plans to launch new air routes in Việt Nam and international destination in the third quarter of this year. — VNS
