ZaloPay and e-commerce platform Sendo are soliciting public donations to provide essential daily items to poor workers in HCM City who have lost their incomes due to COVID-19.

HCM CITY — ZaloPay and e-commerce platform Sendo are soliciting public donations to provide essential daily items to poor workers in HCM City who have lost their incomes due to COVID-19.

To join the charity programme, people can access https://bit.ly/GoiTronYeuThuong and donate using ZaloPay.

For every VNĐ122,200 ($5.3) they pay to buy a package containing rice, cooking oil, soy sauce, biscuits, and others. ZaloPay will contribute VNĐ20,000 (US$0.87).

The packages will be sent to the Red Cross for handing over to beneficiaries in districts 8, Gò Vấp, Tân Phú, and Bình Tân.

The programme aims to provide 5,000 packages by the end of this month.

In July ZaloPay had collaborated with e-commerce platform Lazada to carry out charity programmes to help disadvantaged people. — VNS
