HÀ NỘI — Trịnh Linh Giang and Lý Hoàng Nam started the Davis Cup with positive news, winning both single games against Pacific Oceania yesterday.

Playing against Heve Kelley, Trịnh Linh Giang of Becamex Bình Dương won both sets 6-0, 6-2.

The second single match between Lý Hoàng Nam and Pacific Oceania’s best player Matthew Stubbings was much anticipated byspectators. More than 500 viewers packed the court. Nam won both sets 6-3, 6-1.

The same day the doubles team of Phạm Minh Tuấn and Lê Quốc Khánh lost against Pacific Oceania at 6-1, 3-6, 3-6
