One new imported COVID-19 case was confirmed in Việt Nam on Wednesday morning, bringing the total to 1,203, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

HÀ NỘI — One new imported COVID-19 case was confirmed in Việt Nam on Wednesday morning, bringing the total to 1,203, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The patient is a 60-year-old Israeli national. He entered Nội Bài International Airport on the flight QR976 on October 31 and was quarantined in Hoàn Kiếm District immediately after his entry.

The patient has been quarantined and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases No 2 in Hà Nội's Đông Anh District.

The total number of recoveries had reached 1,069.
