QUẢNG NINH — Móng Cái City has become the second city in Việt Nam, after Đà Lạt, to kick off a smart city operation centre as part of a pilot programme.

The pilot centre was launched by the municipal People’s Committee and its partners.

The centre has different operation systems, such as internal management, smart conference, working schedule, residents’ opinion, epidemic supervision and traffic supervision.

Móng Cái City is the first city in Quảng Ninh Province, the first city in northern area and the second city in the country to run such a centre.

Nguyễn Tiến Dũng, permanent deputy chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, said that the city determined to kick off the centre with modern equipment to improve management.

The centre will continue to be perfected during its pilot operation. — VNS
