Lở, 24, from the Dao ethnic group, lives in Phìn Ngan Hamlet, Trịnh Tường Commune, Bát Xát District.
According to the court’s indictment, on August 9, on the way to catch rock turtles, Lở beat Tẩn Tả Mẩy with a wooden stick and dropped her in a nearby pond, piling rocks over her body.
He also killed Mẩy’s two-year-old daughter, Tẩn Mai Phương, and Mẩy’s six-year-old niece, Tẩn Thùy Chi, drowning both in the pond.
