In a message sent on Wednesday, the Vietnamese PM expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Chinese government, people in the affected areas will soon overcome the consequences of the disasters.

Dozens have been killed and 356,000 people had to flee their homes as heavy rain and floods have swept through large parts of southern China, from Guangdong Province in the southeast to southwest China’s Chongqing on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
Meanwhile, the quakes in Sichuan’s Yibin city have left 13 people dead, 199 others injured and more than 140,000 residents affected. — VNS
