HÀ NỘI — The Vietnamese State, Government and National Assembly leaders on Wednesday sent congratulatory messages to their Russian counterparts on the Russia Day (June 12).

State President Tô Lâm sent congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính cabled a congratulatory message to his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin.

National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn, meanwhile, sent his congratulations to Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.

Foreign Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn also congratulated his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on this occasion. — VNS
