SINGAPORE- Media OutReach - 22 May 2019 - redONE began offering itsnew mobile plans in Singapore today, in what it calls a trial launch of itspostpaid services. Having already established its brand since 2012 as a budgetpostpaid provider in neighbouring Malaysia, redONE will be offering monthlyplans ranging from $8 to $28 a month.
Data Without Borders
All of redONE'spackages come with 1,000 free minutes to other redONE numbers, but what standsout is customers can get up to 300 minutes of free calls and 30 SMS to otherlocal networks and also all Malaysian numbers. For its launch, redONE will beadding an additional 50 free minutes for customers who sign up in the triallaunch.
Similarly,redONE Singapore customers can use their high-speed data quotas whilst roamingin Malaysia without incurring any extra roaming charges. Even when their bundleis depleted, they will still be able to surf, chat and post at a reducedconnection speed, with no roaming charges applied. "What we want to create is asingle redONE community linking Singapore and Malaysia, with plans that meetthe needs of frequent travellers between the two countries," said redONESingapore CEO Francis Cheang.
During thismonth-long trial period, redONE will also be giving free data roaming to allother countries, capped at varying data quotas based on the users' plan. Theonly condition of this free roaming trial will be that customers should providefeedback to redONE on their roaming experiences in order to improve theservice.
Meeting Users' Needs
Customers whoare heavy social media users can subscribe to their redSOCIAL bundle. This is amonthly add-on that costs $18 for 20GB of Facebook, Skype, WhatsApp, andYouTube data. More bundles for heavy video, chat and voice users will also belaunched in the near future.
