HÀ NỘI — Various unique and inspiring creative activities on green and sustainable lifestyles will be organised during the Khoe Creative Festival which will be held this weekend (November 16-17) at Autumn Park, Ecopark urban area, about 10km southeast of the city centre.

With the theme Xanh (Green), the festival will comprise an entertainment programme, sensory activities for children, a fair of eco-friendly products and an art exhibition.

It was initiated by Tò He, a company which creates artistic playgrounds for handicapped children and orphans, aiming to nurture their confidence and creativity.

It runs annually, and not-for-profit since 2017. Until now, it has raised nearly VNĐ400 million (US$16,500) to build boarding schools for poor students in the northern province of Hà Giang. This year, it raises fund for the Establishment of Education and Career orientation workshop for autistic children.

Nguyễn Thị Hải Yến from Tò He Company said participants will have a chance to understand more about climate change, air and the environment. They will learn to recycle and create artworks from carboard boxes, plastic bags, old clothes and newspapers.

“We expect the festival will create a one-of-a-kind experience for the children on this enormous playground in the middle of nature,” she said.

“All are combined to create a liberating, creative space where families connect and enjoy a lively weekend. It’s for families who are concerned about the environment, art, creativity and positive lifestyles.” — VNS
