Deputy Minister Cương emphasised that President Hồ Chí Minh left an invaluable cultural legacy for the country and its people. He lived and worked from the house for the last 15 years between 1954 and 1969, a key period, when, as the Party Chairman and State President, he and the Politburo of the Party Central Committee proposed strategic policies for national liberation and country-building.

"Despite the tumultuous historical changes and intense wartime, Uncle Hồ's residence and workplace heritage at the Presidential Palace has been safely and meticulously protected.

"Efforts have been made to minimise impacts from nature and human activities, while continuously welcoming domestic and international visitors to promote and educate them about Uncle Hồ's ideology and daily life," Cương said. — VNS
