HÀ NỘI — National E-commerce Week will be held from November 25 to December 1 this year.
The week will include a total of 60 hours of Việt Nam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2024, will be held from 0:00 on November 29 to 12:00 on December 1.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) said that the event will be the largest online shopping programme in Việt Nam with e-commerce and digital technology experiences and will help stimulate domestic consumption and enhance people's awareness of e-commerce. It will further the development of infrastructure and digital technology solutions, while at the same time, orient and support businesses in building a sustainable e-commerce market in Việt Nam.
There will be many incentives on offer during the week, both in terms of services and products, with manufacturing and distribution enterprises hoping to entice shoppers onto platforms where there will also be a strong push for the use of electronic payment solutions.
In addition, it also aims to increase support for businesses, especially small and medium enterprises to promote digital transformation, improve their skills and capacity in applying digital technology, transformation models and tools, while enhancing the visibility of local products in the online environment.
The ministry will also be offering companies information on the latest trends in e-commerce and a greater understanding of policies and regulations in the cybermarket place. — VNS
