HÀ NỘI — The PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) has issued a directive to its subsidiaries to continue implementing pandemic prevention and control measures to further stabilise business and production.
Leaders of the corporation stressed that the corporation and its subsidiaries needed to stay vigilant against COVID-19 and raise their responsibilities in COVID-19 prevention and control, for the safety of the community and the operations of the corporation.
The corporation also asked for a proactive watch over the pandemic situation to detect and implement creative and suitable counter-measures.
Subsidiaries are also required to regularly update information and adhere to directives, guidance and regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control from authorities at all levels of the corporation.
Employees should refrain from travelling in crowded places and the corporation's units are instructed to continue supervising employees and/or business partners that have travelled from cities and countries at high risk of COVID-19 infection.
PetroVietnam will also further utilise information and technology in management and production, such as video-conferencing, digital document management and digital signatures.
Besides enhancing pandemic prevention and control, subsidiaries are also required to promote work discipline, fire safety regulations and other work protocols to ensure work safety and efficiency, as well as continuing thrift practices and combatting wastefulness to resolutely carry out the remaining key tasks of 2021. — VNS
