HCM CITY — Travellers in visit Kiên Giang Province’s pristine Hòn Mấu have an opportunity to hang out with fishermen, and enjoy fresh seafood and beautiful beaches.

Visitors who come here are met by the warmth and geniality of the fishermen.

More often than not, you will find yourselves wandering along the narrow streets around the centre where the fishermen’s houses are.

The island is dubbed  "raw pearl" because of its pristine landscape that has almost not been touched by tourism.

The visitors can watch fishing boats return to shore with all kinds of seafood in the early monring.

Visitors can take a bus from HCM City to Kiên Giang Province’s Rạch Giá City for VNĐ250,000 (US$11) for six hours or an airplane to Rạch Giá Air Port.

From Rạch Giá City, visitors can take a boat to the Nam Du Archipelago. It will take about three to four hours from the mainland to Nam Du. — VNS
