Việt Nam win poomsae gold at Asian Taekwondo Championship
Việt Nam won a gold in the last day of the 2024 Asian Taekwondo Championship's poomsae (performance) discipline on May 15 in Đà Nẵng.

ĐÀ NẴNG -- Trương Thị Kim Tuyền of Việt Nam took bronze at the Asian Taekwondo Championship on May 17 in Đà Nẵng City.
Tuyền, seeded No 4, lost 0-2 to reigning SEA Games champion Panip Wongpattanakit of Thailand in the semi-finals match of the women's 49kg category. No 1 seed Wongpattanakit later took the top podium.
Wongpattanakit also eliminated Tuyền in the quarter-finals of the Tokyo Games before she went on to take the Olympic title in 2021.
In the women's 62kg, Vietnamese võ sỹ Phạm Ngọc Châm finished third after losing 0-2 to Feruza Sadikova of Uzbekistan in the semi-finals.
The last weight categories of the championship will be held on May 18 at the Tiên Sơn Sports Complex. VNS
