Van Veen and a team from IRONMAN Asia arrived in Việt Nam to observe and evaluate the preparation and operation activities of the organisation, and to hold discussions with Sunrise Events Vietnam, the licensee of the IRONMAN brand in the country.

Based on their observation and review, the team will have a decision about further tournaments in the future.

"It was also great to be able to race in the home country of our Global Partner VinFast and to witness the passion Vietnamese have for the IRONMAN brand. We look forward to further supporting the growth of multi-sport in this country in the years to come,” he said.
