HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội Police have opened a Facebook account to receive information and complaints from local residents about public security and the attitudes of on-duty police.
The name of the Facebook fanpage is Công An Thành Phố Hà Nội (Hà Nội City Police), with the address https://www.facebook.com/CongAnThuDo/. It will officially be available on June 17.
The fanpage information was released at a conference on information channels on public security held on May 30 in Hà Nội.
Complaints about the attitude of police when performing tasks as well as information about criminal gangs or legal violations will be accepted by the fanpage.
Police officers in charge of the Facebook page administration will classify the information, answer people’s questions, and transfer the information to relevant units.
The Hà Nội Information and Command Centre will be responsible for the fanpage.
The personal information of people who provide information through the Facebook page will be protected.
