TUYÊN QUANG — In a dedicated push to address the critical issues surrounding gender equality and urgent concerns for women and children, the Women's Union in Tuyên Quang Province is actively implementing Project 8 on preventing and combating domestic violence.

The Province's Women's Union is leading initiatives at all levels to raise awareness and bring about positive change in the community.

At the provincial level, the Women's Union has taken a proactive stance, collaborating closely with various departments, branches, and localities. Their efforts are intricately linked with the execution of the "Information and Advocacy Project", demonstrating a comprehensive approach to combat domestic violence. 

The Women's Union at all levels has showcased innovation, creativity, and flexibility in their communication strategies. Various activities, including media conferences and the integration of information dissemination into women's branched and club activities, have been organised. The Tuyên Quang Women's Information Newsletter serves as a crucial tool, alongside the use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, Fanpage Tuyên Quang Province Women's Union, as well as the fanpages of Women's Unions in districts and cities.

Comrade Nguyễn Thị Tươi Minh, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, emphasised the union's commitment to further engage men actively in Women's Union activities. This strategic approach aims to enhance understanding and garner support from husbands and fathers within families. The union is steadfast in its commitment to monitor, identify, and report instances of domestic violence promptly. They seek to encourage individuals to speak up and collaborate in resolving cases of violence against women and children, safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests.

Looking ahead, the Provincial Women's Union intends to intensify efforts in discovering and highlighting positive examples within the community. Recognising and replicating these examples through propaganda will contribute significantly to addressing social problems related to women and children.
