HCM City — The Việt Nam Martyr Families Support Association and a delegation from the US Institute of Peace (USIP) met in HCM City on Wednesday to share information about the search for the remains of fallen Vietnamese soldiers.

Representatives from the search and collection teams of martyrs remains from southern provinces of Đồng Nai, Bình Phước, Bình Dương, Long An, Tây Ninh, and Military Region 7 were also present at the event.

The USIP delegation provided the association with a significant update, handing over 20 sets of documents detailing fallen Vietnamese soldiers from the southern battlefields.

These documents included information on potential mass graves where the US army buried martyrs after battles in Đồng Nai, Bình Dương, Tây Ninh and Bình Định provinces.

In a gesture of remembrance, the delegation presented war memorabilia kept by US veterans to the families of Vietnamese martyrs.
