SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - December 21, 2018 - This Christmas, Haulio launchedits inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event to show appreciation forcontainer truck drivers in Singapore. Despite forming the backbone ofSingapore's supply chain industry, truck drivers are often overlooked andunder-appreciated. Working around the clock in order to ensure containerisedgoods reach their destinations on time, it is a lonely and thankless job thatoften goes unnoticed. Coupled with long hours on the road, manoeuvring such aheavy vehicle isn't an easy feat. The recent unfortunate accident involving anoverturned container and passenger car along PIE further highlights the dangersand risks their jobs entail.

In light of the spirit of Christmas,Haulio will be giving back through the distribution of welfare packs to 1,000truck drivers as a token of appreciation for their hard work. The event will beheld on Saturday, 22^nd December 2018 from 9AM-1PM at the CWTIntegrated depot located in Pioneer. Some of the items given out includenecessities like snacks, drinks and car fresheners. The items are kindly supportedby PSA Corporation, Meiji Seika, Lion Corporation, L'Oréal Group, Haw ParHealthcare, Lam Soon Trading and Allswell Trading.
