HCM CITY — The Berlin-based Boulanger Trio will host a concert at the HCM City Conservatory of Music on July 7.

The band will play Trio g-Moll op. 17 by Clara Schumann, Litaniae by Paul Juon, and Trio e-Moll op 90 “Dumky” by Antonín Dvorák.

Founded in 2006, the trio consists of pianist Karla Haltenwanger, violist Birgit Erz and cellist Ilona Kindt.

The group has released eight CDs and performed with orchestras such as the Nieder- rheinische Sinfoniker, the Brandenburger Symphoniker, and the Berne Symphony Orchestra.

They have been invited to perform at prestigious theatres such as the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Vienna Musikverein in Vienna, and Wigmore Hall in London, and at festivals including Heidelberg Spring Festival and Kissingen Summer Festival in German.
