Impressive Northwest Brocade Road at Sun World Fansipan Legend

From the entrance of the cable car station, visitors can see the bright and fresh colours of the Northwest Brocade Road which appears for the first time in Sa Pa. Local painters spent many days decorating this road with vivid motifs from the brocade skirts of Mong and Dao ethnic groups and the drawings on bronze drums, creating a spring atmosphere with the northwest culture in a visually satisfying manner.

Spring flowers blooming brilliantly

Flowers of all kinds are blooming all over the station area, including ancient peaches, Light Peach with a light pink colour, forest peaches, purple and white cabbage flowers or yellow Chrysanthemum morifolium, red azaleas and lovely roses, all forming a wall of flowers and bringing the spring season to this place. In particular, a green tea hill embellished with dozens of Japanese cherry trees preparing to bloom will definitely make a memorable detail in the spring trip of every visitor.

Great scene of Peacock Couple

In addition to the spring flower forest, there are small scenes in the traditional Tet style. The gate to welcome spring in the Year of the Ox is decorated with a Golden Buffalo, new year trees with lanterns in typical brocade motifs, and the great scene of the Peacock Couple which are all a wish for wealth and good luck for visitors to the festival.

There are also crowded markets of ethnic groups with the fragrant aroma from “Thang Co” (a traditional dish of the H'Mong), buffalo meat hung up in the kitchen, the warm taste of corn wine and sunny smiles of the local people. A colourful brocade of 500 m2 wide is also used to decorate the market space to show the local identity. Worship Buddha to pray for peace

Sun World Fansipan Legend is one of the few destinations enabling visitors to both enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the Northwestern high mountains and thick forests and enjoy a quiet place to worship Buddha to pray for peace at the spiritual complex on top of Mount Fansipan.

To start the Buddha worshipping and peace prayer season in the New Year, Sun World Fansipan Legend will hold an Opening Sky Gate on Spring Festival on the 9th day of the lunar calendar (February 20) with many unique spiritual and cultural activities such as a spiritual drum festival, lion dance, procession ceremony, and Co Doi Thuong Ngan performance, etc.

Bao An Thien Tu Pagoda Temple

The rituals will take place at Bao An Thien Tu Pagoda Temple, the first spiritual destination in Fansipan spiritual complex, opposite the cable car station. After the bustling sound of the festival drums and majestic procession ritual, visitors will receive a peace prayer card and pilgrimage to the "Roof of Indochina" to pray for themselves and their loved ones for a peaceful, lucky and happy new year.

At the gate of the sky, there is the great scene of thousands of flowers for Buddha made from fresh flowers with an area of 150 square metres in the middle of the cloud yard, and two flower walls with the words "fortune" and "peace" in Bich Van Thien Tu Pagoda. From here, Buddhists will begin the journey to worship Buddha. The sorrow, anger, or misfortune of the old year are partly let go after they pass each green stone step towards the sacred peak. Only the feeling of tranquility in the meditation place among the sea of clouds is kept.

Spiritual complex on Mount Fansipan

There are peaceful Vietnamese pagodas with architectural style of the 15th-16th century in the magic mist covering the blue mountain peaks.
