HÀ NỘI — Ngô Văn Phương won the fourth stage of the Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa (NKKN) cycling race in Laos yesterday.
Phương of Gạo Hạt Ngọc Trời finished first in the 156km from Stung Treng to Pakse City of Champusak Province in a time of 4:17.00.
Nguyễn Thắng and Lê Nguyệt Minh of Minh Giang-HCM City were the runners-up.

Phương took the yellow jersey for the best total time of 13:16.18 from Minh, though the latter currently holds the green jersey as the best sprinter with 64 points, followed by Mai Nguyễn Hưng of VUS-HCM City with 42 points and Nguyễn Tấn Hoài of Domesco Pharmacy Đồng Tháp with 29 points.
The white jersey as the best young cyclist belongs to Nguyễn Đắc Thời of Lộc Trời Group.
Minh Giang-HCM City replaced VUS-HCM City to take the lead in the team’s rankings with a total time of 39:51.46.
