HCM City Open University launches Journal of Science website

HCM City Open University on June 9 launched a website for its Journal of Science which publishes research articles in the fields of economy, education, mechanics, construction-architecture, biology, sociology, philosophy, and politics.

HCM CITY — HCM City Open University on Tuesday launched a website for its Journal of Science which publishes research articles in the fields of economy, education, mechanics, construction-architecture, biology, sociology, philosophy and politics.

Established in 2006, the journal publishes 10 issues per year, of which one third are published in English.

As of May, as many as 2,019 authors have had articles published in the journal. Of these, 70 per cent of the authors are scientists from other reputable universities and research institutes in HCM City and other provinces and cities in Việt Nam and other countries.

The journal’s website is an important condition for taking part in the ACI international data base system this year and the SCOPUS international data base system by 2025.

The website launch is one of the activities to mark the 30th anniversary of the university’s establishment. — VNS
