HCM CITY — HCM City will ban all vehicles between 6pm and 10pm on Nguyễn Huệ Street on Reunification Day, April 30.

According to the city Department of Transport, the ban is to ensure order and safety during the holiday.

Vehicles going from Lê Thánh Tôn to Tôn Đức Thắng have been told to take Đồng Khởi Street or Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa and Hàm Nghi streets.

In the reverse direction, they can take Hàm Nghi and Pasteur streets or Công Trường, Mê Linh and Hai Bà Trưng streets.

The department has also called for a suspension of all road works during Reunification Day and Labour Day on May 1.
