70-year-old guard detained, charged with sexually abusing six-grader in central province

NGHỆ AN — A 70-year-old security guard at a kindergarten in Quế Phong District in the central province of Nghệ An was detained on Saturday on suspicion of sexually abusing a sixth-grade student.

On Thursday, the family of a female student in Tiền Phong Commune filed a denunciation to Quế Phong District’s authorities against a man named P.H, who they claimed was sexually abusing the girl, leading to her pregnancy.

They said they had brought her to the doctors for examination when the girl displayed several ‘abnormal signs.’

It turned out that she was six weeks pregnant. The girl said the guard sexually abused her at the kindergarten she plays at during her time off.
