Hà Nội first to sixth graders return to school

Nearly 1 million students in the first to sixth grades in all 30 urban and outlying districts and townships of Hà Nội return to school on Wednesday after nearly a year of online learning

HÀ NỘI — Nearly one million students in the first to sixth grades of 30 urban and outlying districts and townships of Hà Nội return to school on Wednesday after nearly a year of online learning.

All schools will take COVID-19 prevention and control measures as guided by the municipal Department of Education and Training to ensure safety for students. Traffic police are assigned along streets to guide traffic for parents to take their children to school.

Hà Nội People’s Committee on Monday approved the education department’s proposal to resume in-person learning in the first to sixth grades.

According to the decision, first to sixth-grade students can attend school in both morning and afternoon sessions, with lunch served depending on the school’s plan and parental consent.
