HONG KONG, CHINA - Media OutReach - 7 November 2018 - International venture capital and angelinvestment firm the Global Group proudly presents Chinese Physiology 3D by Argentine artist Carolina Kollmann, a soloexhibition featuring a combination of 3D printmaking technology painted withacrylics on canvas. The opening night of the event, held at the renownedAreteos Art Space in Central, hosted special guests including Dr.Johnny Hon, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Global Group andHonorary Consul of Grenada in Hong Kong, Mr. Gustavo Fazzari, Argentine ConsulGeneral in Hong Kong and Macao, Ms. Vicky Xu, Founder and CEO of Areteos FamilyOffice, the Argentine artist Carolina Kollmann, and VIP industryrepresentatives.

The Carolina Kollmann's Exhibition of ChinesePhysiology 3D, as one of the major highlights of the 7th Edition ofthe Argentina Festival in Hong Kong, spotlights seven 3D paintings and a video,exhibiting the creative inspiration and uniqueness of 3D painting. With herobservation as an Argentine artist, Carolina Kollmann isfascinated by the huge differences in Chinese physiology and aesthetics, thatwhen combined make a complete and interesting Art Subject. The artworks were createdby using high-relief, a new technic to enhance and accentuate the objects.Carolina hopes to draw attention to the variety that often goes unnoticed or istaken for granted in both cases.

 

Carolina Kollmannsaid: "I am very honoured to have the support of the Global Group, which hashelped make this exhibition a success. After being able to observe theinteresting characteristics of Chinese physiology and culture as apermanent resident in Hong Kong, the idea came to me when I was capturingcharacters of different ages through my sketches. Combining with 3-dimensionalmixed media, I would like to further investigate aesthetically into Chinesephysiology."

About CarolinaKollmann

CarolinaKollmann began her formal arteducation at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón, BuenosAires University, Argentina, and was awarded an international scholarship forAdvanced Studies of Fine Art at the Central Saint Martins College of Art andDesign, London. It was there she developed her figurative painting style,characterised by solid structures and a sense of colour that accentuates shapeand gives a sculptured appearance to her paintings. Fascinated by scenesof lower- income groups in Hong Kong, Carolina Kollmann hopes toexpress a sense of humanity in her artwork by depicting who she sees in thecity.
