KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Media OutReach - July 5, 2018 - ConnectedPlant technologies such as advanced data analytics and cloud technology were atthe core of Honeywell's (NYSE: HON) MalaysiaTechnology Summit 2018, highlighting how they can power Malaysia's Industry 4.0transformation. The day-long event drew automation professionals from across theprocess industries and addressed key topics such as the role of advancedanalytics in smarter asset performance management, industrial cybersecurity aswell as insights on safety and skills.
Malaysia is on thecusp of two major revolutions -- the transformation into a manufacturing hub andthe digital transformation, driven by the government's vision to digitize theeconomy, citizens, and infrastructure.
