’Intransmission Hanoi’ explores individual perception and collective experience. |
HÀ NỘI — Heritage Space will host a series of experimental multidisciplinary live art shows entitled ‘Intransmission Hanoi’ from tomorrow until Sunday.
The shows explore the concept of perception and collective experience, and what the organisers call ‘derivative experience’ (i.e. indirect experience through an external narrative).
Aiming to provide an immersive experience for audiences across two separate rooms, the organisers want to keep as many details secret as possible to maximise the surprise effect for attendees.
While each room will contain its own site-specific art installation and distinct music act, they will both be connected: audio and visuals from room one will be live-streamed to room two, undergoing distortions in the process.
Participating artists and collaborators include Think Playgrounds (installation, Space 1), Daniel Day Long & Julien Noyer (visuals), Rec Room (sound design), Hải Duy (percussion), Linh Hà (vocals), Nguyễn Thu Thủy (tỳ bà string instrument), Vũ Nhật Tân (music), Alistair Hobson (music), Numbfoot (music) and Quân (music).
Tickets cost VNĐ150,000 for single admission, VNĐ250,000 for double admission (for two separate performances and valid for one person only), and are available on ticketbox.vn.
