HCM CITY — Mondelez Kinh Đô has recently announced that it will start its mooncake production for the upcoming Mid-autumn festival.

In addition to the domestic market, the company continues to affirm its international quality with recent exports to the US, mainland China, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and other markets.

This year marks the 12th consecutive year that Kinh Đô mooncakes were exported to the US, having met the stringent standards of this important market. At the same time, Mondelez Kinh Đô has for four years exported Oreo mooncakes to Singapore and Thailand for the Mid-Autumn festival celebrations of Asian communities.

With its campaign called "Finely crafted, to keep your story alive", the company is set to bring to the market many new products this year.

"With 22 years of experience in making mooncakes and serving consumers, Kinh Đô mooncakes have become a much loved and trusted brand among Vietnamese consumers, who have chosen our mooncakes for family moments and gifting. This year, too, Mondelez Kinh Đô proudly continues to set trends as a mooncake maker by introducing new disruptive innovations beyond the traditional recipes. Our new range represents Kinh Đô's impeccable craftsmanship making the mid-autumn festival richer, while maintaining the highest quality and unique flavors," said Hemant Rupani, Managing Director of Mondelez Kinh Đô Vietnam

As a highlight of this mid-autumn festive season, Mondelez Kinh Đô presents its latest mooncake innovation - the Trăng Vàng Black & Gold.

Apart from the supreme Black & Gold line, consumers are offered a variety of choices: from the contemporary and refined Oreo mooncakes and the iconic premium "Trăng Vàng" line to the exclusive range for children with AR technology packaging.

For those with special health needs, Kinh Đô has introduced a unique line of diet and vegetarian mooncakes with choices of 70 per cent sugar reduction and no sugar added.

In line with Mondelez International's Environmental Impact Goals, the company continues to use innovative packaging materials that are recyclable and friendly to the environment. This year, all Kinh Đô mooncake handle bags are made from paper, while 90 per cent of plastic knives have been removed from mooncake boxes.

To prepare for a robust mooncake season this year, Mondelez Kinh Đô has developed a vast direct store distribution network with an impressive theme design to be displayed at supermarkets, stores and booths across the country.

Consumers can buy Kinh Đô mooncakes easily through e-commerce channels such as Tiki, Shopee, Lazada and Grab. — VNS
