The forum is scheduled to open on June 2nd at Hall A at the Tây Ninh Party Committee office.

Expected to be in attendance are senior Government and Government Office officials and officials and leaders of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Natural Resources and Environment, and Culture, Sports and Tourism.

There will also be representatives of local agencies and enterprises including the province's Standing Party Committee, Standing People's Council and People's Committee; the VCCI; the Young Entrepreneurs Association; the DAA Vietnam High-Tech Agriculture Club; the Australian Business Association in Việt Nam, businesses affiliated to EuroCham; TTC Group; De Heus Group; Hùng Nhơn Group; BaF; Vinamilk and others.

There will be a total of 400-450 guests at what is likely to be the largest international investment forum held in Tây Ninh.

The event will showcase the potential, strengths and preferential policies of the province, helping Vietnamese and foreign investors access information about key projects, especially in economic zones and related to tourist resorts and agriculture, especially hi-tech agriculture, deputy chairman Chiến said.

“Tây Ninh focuses on agricultural development, especially clean agriculture and using technology to increase productivity, quality and competitiveness of products.

“It is expected that with their technical and financial prowess, EuroCham members will help Tây Ninh develop infrastructure to transform production, develop raw material zones and meet the demand for processing and exports."

Fluit said: “EuroCham values the positive impact of agriculture on the development of the economy of Việt Nam in general and Tây Ninh Province in particular.

“For members of EuroCham, this forum will open up priority access to useful information, a comprehensive picture of the regional economic context, upcoming projects and potential growth.

“From there, businesses will have a decision to look for new investment opportunities in Tây Ninh.

“In this context, I am filled with confidence that the forum will ignite a powerful spark, fueling dialogue and fostering meaningful relationships between Team Europe and Tây Ninh. Through these connections, we have a great opportunity to actively foster technology transfer, knowledge sharing, and investment cooperation. This teamwork can be transformational, resulting in a leap forward in technological capabilities, an improvement in product quality, an expansion into international markets, the creation of jobs, and above all, strengthening Tây Ninh's position in global value chains.”

He said that, with more than 1,300 members who currently employ 150,000 people across Việt Nam, EuroCham is one of the largest foreign business associations in the country.

Many of its members are large corporations in high-tech agriculture who have had a lot of success and experience in investing in Việt Nam, and helped develop a sustainable and prosperous agricultural sector, he said.

Hùng, the co-organiser, said: “VIDA's goal is to support the development of large-scale projects to modernise Việt Nam's agriculture; set up a digital agricultural training regime for Việt Nam and the region; and collaborate to build centres for processing and preserving agricultural products.”

VIDA has organised practical action programmes to help its members operating in the agricultural sector to adopt the latest technologies, he added. VNS
