Five passengers and the driver of a limousine minibus en route to the northern province of Cao Bằng suffered the fright of their lives on October 23 when a moving truck struck their vehicle sending it spinning across the road.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured or killed despite the windows shattering glass all over the passengers.

But what happened next sure did create a buzz.

The minibus smashed into a dozen bee hives stacked on the side of the road. The bees were not happy and launched an all-out attack.

One passenger from Tuyên Quang Province posted on Facebook: “Now I know that good deeds will be rewarded..! I only suffered some pains and slight scratches! But the bees did deliver quite an assault..!”

The post was accompanied with an emoji indicated the person was “feeling blessed”.

She added that because the registration plate of the minibus ended with the number “53” – which was the same as her motorbike – she decided the right thing to do was to buy a lottery ticket.

“This must be destiny,” she wrote.

No word if she won the lottery, but one thing is for sure, her numbers certain came up surviving the crash as the crash happened just a few metres from a steep cliff.

As for the bees, no injuries reported and they are back doing what they do best, producing honey.
