Fried glutinous rice with preserved meat

Let us experience one of the most popular Cantonese dishes, prepared by Chef Ming from Crystal Jade Palace. The dense, chewy-textured glutinous rice, in addition to the traditional ingredients such as Chinese sausage, dried prawn and pork belly, will make the family-style dish unique.

Ingredients: serves 1

  • 250g glutinous rice                                                
  • 50g pork belly                                             
  • 50g Chinese sausage                                   
  • 20g dried prawn                                          
  • 50g Chinese mushroom                               
  • 5g peanut                                                    
  • 0.05g Spring onion                                               
  • 0.05g coriander                                           


  • Steam the glutinous rice, then keep cold.
  • Poach the pork belly, Chinese sausage, dried prawn, and Chinese mushroom, then pan fry.
  • Stir-fry the glutinous rice with egg yolk
  • Mix all ingredients together then cook with soya sauce.
  • Present on a plate with spring onion and coriander on top.
