VNA deputy general director appointed as Nhân dân newspaper’s Editor-in-chief

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy General Director of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) Lê Quốc Minh has been appointed as editor-in-chief of Nhân dân (People) newspaper.

HÀ NỘI — Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy General Director of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) Lê Quốc Minh has been appointed as editor-in-chief of Nhân dân (People) newspaper.

A conference was held on Thursday by Nhân Dân newspaper to announce the Politburo’s decision on the appointment which was issued on April 29.

Minh was born on December 1, 1969, in central Nghệ An Province’s Diễn Châu District.

He started his career as an editor of VNA’s World News Department in 1990.

In 2008, he was appointed as editor-in-chief of VNA’s VietnamPlus e-newspaper and was then appointed as Deputy General Director of VNA in 2017. — VNS
