KIÊN GIANG — Travellers to the Mekong province of Kiên Giang should pay a visit to see the pristine beauty and peaceful atmosphere of Hòn Nghệ (Nghệ Islet) in the coastal district of Kiên Lương.

To reach there, they can take a sleeper bus to Hà Tiên Town from the Western Bus Terminal in HCM City. Once they arrive there, they can take a coach to Ngã Ba Hòn Wharf and catch a boat to the islet.

Visitors will find beautiful landscapes and pleasant weather all year round in the oval-shaped islet with sparkling blue sea water and wild rocks.

The religious-minded can visit some sacred sites such as Liên Tôn Pagoda, Phật Cô Đơn Cave, and Gia Long King Cave between the Lunar New Year (Tết) holidays and mid-March every year to pray for prosperity, good luck and good health.
