Pharmacist died from acute pulmonary oedema

A fully COVID-19 vaccinated 39-year-old pharmacist at Chợ Rẫy Hospital in HCM City died from acute pulmonary oedema on June 25, Tiền Phong (Vanguard) newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The woman received the second vaccine shot at about 3pm on June 25. After the injection, her health was monitored and after being found in normal condition, she returned home at 4.30pm.

She started to feel tired at 8pm the same day and was taken to the Chợ Rẫy hospital at 9.37pm. But doctors said she died before arriving at the hospital. She had no known underlying medical conditions.

The cause of the death was recorded after an autopsy as acute pulmonary oedema, not due to the COVID-19 vaccine, Tiền Phong said. — VNS
