Fire damages 1,000sq.m store in Bình Dương

BÌNH DƯƠNG — A fire broke out on Monday morning at Hoàng Sinh Export-Import joint-stock Company’s 1000sq.m furniture workshop and store in southern Bình Dương Province’s Thủ Dầu Một.

No casualties were reported, but everything inside the space was destroyed. Damages are estimated at billions of đồng.

Workers discovered smoke rising and heard a big explosion in the furniture painting workshop. They informed the company guard and the city fire fighting force. The flames spread quickly, as there was much inflammable equipment and material stored inside the workshop.

Twenty trucks and dozens of firefighters were mobilised to stamp out the fire, which was finally extinguished after two hours and a half.

Investigations are underway.—VNS
