The software-defined branch(SD-Branch) and SD-WAN, optimized with AI-based insights and assurance, haveresulted in the following benefits:
1. Time-savings in resolvinginfrastructure problems before they impact the organization. With the integration of Aruba's Analytics and Assurance capabilitiesinto the Aruba Central unified cloud-based platform, IT professionals canquickly remediate intermittent network issues while also proactivelyidentifying how to optimize customers' infrastructures to ensure world-classexperiences.
2. Reduce operational costand address hybrid cloud connectivity for distributed enterprises. Enhanced with improved branch management and orchestrationcapabilities, and managed via Aruba Central, SD-Branch and SD-WAN can nowcentrally monitor and control business-intent policies to reduce the need forskilled support and maintenance professionals on site, which improvesoperational agility.
3. Easy-to-deploy, flexibleand secure overlay topologies in a large-scale edge infrastructure.
a. SD-WAN Orchestrator Now available in Aruba Central to enable troublefree gatewayprovisioning at scale, this cloud-native, multi-tenant control plane aids inadministrative cost savings and simplifies management of wide area networks.
b. Software as a service(SaaS) Express prioritization feature not only enhancesthe performance of SaaS applications but also provides visibility about theend-user experience for business-critical applications, such as MicrosoftOffice 365, Skype, Salesforce and many more.
c. Aruba Virtual Gateways, now available for both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services(AWS), cost-effectively extends network and security policies to workloadsrunning in the cloud.
4. Automate unique policyenforcement. Aruba ClearPass DeviceInsight provides Internet of Things (IoT) visibility and security byemploying automated device discovery and machine learning-based fingerprintingand identification. When used in conjunction with Aruba ClearPass PolicyManager and Aruba's dynamicsegmentation security capabilities, networking and securityteams reduce risk by eliminating device blind spots on the network.
Leveraging Aruba's cloud-basedsolutions, leading aged care provider Catholic Healthcare recently rolled outAruba Central, hosted on AWS, across its 46 locations in Australia.

Aruba and AWS have deepened their strategic relationshipto provide customers with a more cloud-based SD-branch service. From providinga virtual gateway for SD-Branch customers that allows their branch users to moresecurely and efficiently access corporate services hosted in their AmazonVirtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) and now extending that support to AWSTransit Gateway. This collaboration aims at simplifying connectivity forSD-Branch users who have services running across multiple Amazon VPCs. Byleveraging AWS Transit Gateway, Aruba SD-Branch users need only create onevirtual gateway connection, and from there, through connectivity to their AWSTransit Gateway, they can connect to up to 5000 of their Amazon VPCs in thatregion.
