BENGALURU, INDIA - Media OutReach - 5 September 2018 - Avnet India has been certified as aGreat Workplace for the second consecutive year. The recognition was based on arigorous assessment by Great Place to Work^® Institute,considered the Gold standard in workplace culture assessment and recognitionglobally.

As part of the assessment, Great Place to WorkInstitute consolidated feedback from Avnet India's employees and measured theirperceptions using Great Place to Work's proprietary framework, Trust Index^©that surveys employees anonymously. Participating companies were evaluated onseveral factors such as: credibility of the management, respect for people,fairness at workplace, workplace culture, including the level of trust theyfeel towards leaders, the pride they take in their jobs, and the camaraderiethey experience with co-workers. The second aspect studied by the Institute wasthe evaluation of people practices through their proprietary framework, CultureAudit^© that covers several areas such as: hiring, speaking, listening,inspiring, and sharing. Avnet India scored an overwhelming 80 percent or higherin all criteria listed by Great Place to Work based on employees' surveys.
