HCM City — Singaporean comedian Sam See, who is part of Asia’s new wave of stand-up comedians, will give a performance at Yoko Café on July 22.

Sam is known for his unique blend of jokes, stories and improvised humour.

He has worked with well-known comedians like Jim Jefferies, Dara Ó Briain, Bert Kreischer, Gina Yashere and Kevin Bridges.

He has performed in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Oman, and comedy festivals such as the Singapore Comedy Fringe Festival and Crackhouse Comedy Carnival in Kuala Lumpur.

He has appeared on MTV, Comedy Central Asia and Channel 5, Singapore’s nation-wide English broadcaster.

The performance will begin at 8pm at 22A Nguyễn Thị Diệu Street in District 3. Tickets priced at VNĐ200,000 (US$8.5) are available at the venue. — VNS
