HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese fashion designer Trần Phương Hoa, renowned for her elaborate wedding gown designs, will attend the much-anticipated Vancouver Fashion Week 2025 to present her latest collection, Radiant Symphony.

Comprising 12 designs that celebrate the perfect blend of classic and modern styles, Radiant Symphony is likened to a complete symphony of love.

The collection uses familiar materials in wedding gown design, such as chiffon, silk, and satin, incorporating embroidery techniques, embellishments, and 3D shapes with elegant cut-out details. Additionally, in a bid to showcase traditional Vietnamese materials in international presentations, the designer has integrated pearls produced in the central province of Khánh Hòa in her works.

The 32-year-old designer said that she spent a year developing this collection, from the initial concept to registration for participation. Each dress is a unique version of itself, showcasing the beauty of the fusion between Vietnamese and Canadian culture and fashion.

The dress, specially tailored for the singer, features a standout sheer corset, cleverly combined with bold yet delicate cut-out details. The bodice is supported by lightweight padding, adorned with pearls and crystals to create a sparkling effect with movement. The off-shoulder design is accentuated by soft, shimmering chiffon and beaded straps, enhancing the overall allure and elegance. The flowing skirt, with meticulously pleated layers of chiffon, adds a sense of lightness and grace to every step.

The design combines the luxury of crystals with the elegance of Khánh Hòa pearls, creating a look that is both feminine and glamorous. It is finished with meticulously crafted hand-embroidered details and a sophisticated mix of materials, resulting in a perfect fashion piece for this special performance.

The dress is the result of hundreds of hours of creative labour and craftsmanship from the designer and Eleven S team, aimed at presenting the singer in the best possible appearance for the performance. All design and fitting processes were kept secret to ensure that Hòa's appearance would be a surprising and memorable moment on stage. — VNS
