PHÚ YÊN — The central coastal province of Phú Yên plans to grant licences to projects worth nearly VNĐ12.4 trillion (US$558 million) in total at an investment promotion conference on January 19.
At a press conference held on Monday, which released the information, representatives of local authorities said more than 500 delegates, including those from 260 domestic and international enterprises, were expected to attend the conference.
Phan Đình Phùng, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, noted that the event aimed at introducing preferential policies designated for investors and a list of projects on agriculture, processing industry, mining, renewable energy and tourism.
Lê Tấn Hổ, director of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, said Phú Yên housed five concentrated industrial parks covering a total area of 498 hectares.
