HÀ NỘI — The inaugural Asian Youth Championship of Gaelic football will take place on Saturday at the Hà Nội’s Mỹ Đình Stadium.

The first ever stand-alone continental youth Gaelic football competition has lured around 150 youth players from Việt Nam, China and South Korea.

Gaelic football combines the suspense of football, the skills and scoring of basketball, and the speed of the fastest sports in the world in a free-flowing action-packed sport. It originated in Ireland centuries ago.

The tournament is organised by the Asian County Board and the Viet Celts. — VNS
